Life is absolutely hectic these days. Between work, family, and trying to squeeze in some me time/self-care/relaxation, it can be tough to keep up. But there's one thing that always gets me through: coffee. I seriously love the smell of a good cup of joe, and it gives me the energy I need to tackle the day.
Of course, I also know that sleep is important. But sometimes, when you're powering through a busy schedule, it can be hard to get enough shut-eye. So, on those days when I'm feeling particularly stressed, I might just indulge in a little extra coffee (and maybe even skip a nap/power nap/quick snooze).
No criticism here – we all have our habits/guilty pleasures. And for me, it's a warm mug of coffee and the promise of a productive day/getting things done/accomplishing my goals.

My Other Therapist is a French Press
When life gets stressful, and the usual coping mechanisms aren't doing the trick, I turn to my unique source of comfort: a trusty brewing device. This ritualistic process of crushing beans, adding hot water, and patiently allowing for the perfect cup becomes my moment of clarity. Each glug carries with it a wave of calm, grounding me in the here and now.

- Other times, it's simply a delightful break from the constant chaos.
So, while I may sometimes seek out a mental health professional, my coffee maker remains a steadfast source of support through life's ups and downs.
